As a professional cross-border and domestic project service provider for steel grating, Anping Baizhou Hardware Mesh Industry, leveraging its three standardized pressure-welding production lines and comprehensive galvanizing and anti-corrosion process capabilities, has established a project supply partnership with a local new-energy EPC contractor in Gansu Province, supplying photovoltaic maintenance walkways totaling 2,000㎡ for this solar power station. Located in an open-air environment in Northwest China, the client set stringent requirements for the panels’ slip resistance, load-bearing capacity, UV aging resistance, drainage and ventilation, and long-term corrosion protection, while also demanding a tight delivery schedule to align with the power station’s phased grid-connection construction milestones. During the project execution phase, Baizhou relied on its in-house CAD design team to optimize panel cutting and layout according to the photovoltaic racking arrangement, selecting Q235B base material and applying hot-dip galvanizing with coating thickness controlled to 85 microns to enhance outdoor corrosion resistance. With over 20,000㎡ of on-site warehouse inventory pre-positioned for prompt stocking, goods were packaged in batches and delivered via trunk-line logistics. Prior to shipment, each batch underwent rigorous testing for load-bearing capacity, slip resistance, and zinc coating thickness, effectively mitigating risks of rust, slippage, and deformation under load during outdoor use. Upon arrival, the panels could be directly snapped into place, significantly shortening on-site installation time; their grid structure efficiently drains rainwater and snowmelt, meeting the operational and maintenance access needs of photovoltaic modules. The consistent quality and timely delivery of these products fully met the power station’s construction standards, earning recognition from the new-energy EPC contractor. As a result, the two parties agreed to grant Baizhou priority supply rights for subsequent regional photovoltaic expansion projects, making this project a benchmark case for Baizhou in the Northwest’s new-energy photovoltaic corridor sector.
