Anping Baizhou Hardware Mesh Industry, leveraging its expertise in customizing heavy-duty non-standard steel grating and a high-strength quality-control system, delivered industrial platform steel grating with a total area of 8,000㎡ for the technological upgrade project at a Shanxi industrial and mining plant, becoming the core supplier of grating products for this plant’s platform renovation. The platforms in the industrial and mining facility endure frequent, heavy loads from equipment maintenance tools and material handling, while the site is exposed to dust and production-related moisture. The client set stringent, rigid standards for the grating’s structural load-bearing capacity, wear resistance, rust prevention, and anti-slip and explosion-proof performance. With limited shutdown windows, they required large quantities of goods to arrive on schedule and align with the phased renovation construction rhythm. Our technical team adjusted the flat bar specifications and mesh spacing based on the load-bearing values of each platform zone, completing the detailed drawings; we primarily employed high-pressure automated pressure welding to ensure the strength of weld points, and controlled the galvanizing coating thickness to 85 microns to enhance corrosion resistance and wear durability. Relying on the plant’s tens-of-thousands-ton ready-stock inventory, we organized production into batches and coordinated deliveries during the plant’s short shutdown periods. Each batch underwent random sampling inspections for static load-bearing capacity, anti-slip coefficients, and anti-corrosion coating thickness, effectively mitigating safety risks such as platform deformation under load, corrosion-related failures, and worker slips. The grid structure naturally drains accumulated dust and production condensation, reducing the likelihood of platform corrosion, while modular components shorten on-site renovation time. Following project implementation, the structural safety and anti-slip, long-lasting performance of the plant’s operating platforms met the required standards, easing the plant’s operational safety and maintenance pressures. The industrial and mining enterprise has confirmed a long-term supply partnership for subsequent sub-plant platform renovations, further strengthening Baizhou’s project portfolio in the North China industrial and mining platform sector.
